We were chosen by world-renowned, Akihabara-based figurine and goods manufacturer Good Smile Company to launch, run and operate their European division, Good Smile Company Europe!
Our team is made-up of many international individuals, especially those with a European background such as CEO Tristan Junker himself hailing from Germany before moving to Japan. As a result, Kaikoku is proud to showcase its in-depth knowledge of the European market, especially when it comes to communication and marketing strategies between the European and Japanese markets.
We have built up Good Smile Europe’s online storefront using Shopify as a foundation, working with order fulfillment, product updates, appearance and functionality, as well as frontline communication and heading customer service efforts and resolution. We also worked closely with Good Smile Company’s executives to seamlessly integrate necessary custom applications, code, data organization systems, and all other essential building blocks behind the site. Supplemental work is also done by us, such as newsletter updates, written content (articles, blog posts, news updates), and custom designing.
Marketing is also at the forefront of our work with Good Smile Company. We regularly plan, apply, and seamlessly execute campaigns for customers, including order discounts, shipping discounts, buy-one-get-one offers, and many more depending on the occasion or time of year. To boost these campaigns further, it’s also on us to create customized banners and assets for Good Smile Company, as well as create tailored ad campaigns across social media. We also work directly with popular content creators in the Japanese Pop Culture sphere both in Europe and abroad to create sponsored advertisements and product integration, as well as establishing a sitewide affiliate program.
In addition to marketing, we also manage Good Smile Company Europe’s social media accounts. We ensure and maintain that engaging posts are scheduled to ensure posting consistency, as well as interacting with followers to further grow the accounts and boost engagement, with many posts receiving a reach of well over several thousand individuals. With this, we are also responsible for Good Smile Company Europe’s analytics, regularly analyzing, growing, and reporting all aspects of the company’s performance in sales, reach, growth, and engagement.
As we continue to work with Good Smile Company and head their European division, we are also expanding our development together, pushing marketing boundaries beyond the online sphere such as headlining and sponsoring events in Europe and getting the word out on goods and campaigns through fun and interactive customized content. It’s through our partnership with Good Smile Company that their European division has seen tremendous, near-exponential growth in their sales since launch.
