28 Oct Organizing a Shoot for Galileo TV in Japan
In September 2018 we were in charge of organizing a shooting for Galileo TV, a popular German television channel. The first days of the shoot took place in a park, Japanese Ryokan , and on the streets of Shimbashi, Shibuya, Akihabara, and Shinjuku. Kaikoku not only scouted the locations but obtained special permission for filming each spot when necessary.
When needed, we also provided Japanese actors and models from our vast network of talent.
For coverage on the famous microscopic sushi of Asakusa, we contacted the restaurant to get permission to film and interview the person of interest.
Many of the scenes were taken in a traditional Japanese style Inn (Ryokan) which we have a special partnership with.
Our CEO also had the honor to stand on the green screen and act for certain roles.
Another shoot covered the famous ice cream that never melts from Kanazawa Ice! We were able to not only film inside their factory, but interview their researchers, founder, and CEO as well.
